Car Heater Not Working After Radiator Flush

Trying to take this truck across country and need the heater to stay warm until the summer. You should not flush the radiator but drain the fluid and refill it.

Take off both heater hoses at the top of the engine, blow out fluid with low pressure.(5 or 10 lbs.) fill both hoses with the right radiator flush.

If it sticks in the open position, there will be insufficient pressure in the system, and the coolant will not get hot enough, reducing the heater’s output. The inlet hose for the heater core is hot the exit hose is cool. If the coolant is low, or there is an air lock (and also after replacing any faulty parts) you need to fill the system properly. To do this, set the heater controls in the car to maximum heat, remove the radiator cap (or remote mounted coolant pressure cap, sometimes on. So, you need to get them replaced. If your car’s heater doesn’t seem to be working too well, it might be time to flush it out. How to clean a clogged radiator properly:

Let the car cool for 15 to 20 minutes. The car oil did not have white residue due to radiator fluid leaking into the engine oil. To check for this problem:

Position the control to discharge air from the a/c vents in the instrument panel. This may be due to a faulty heater blower motor or potentially a bad heater core. You will have to run the vehicle untill the heater is blowing hot air during the flush, that way its going through the thermostat.

Please advise not sure what to do next other than test the wire itself that connects to said switch. You could test for a heater core clog by opening the hood and feeling the input and output hoses to the heater core. When you face overheating or contaminant in the coolant, you should check the necessary cause for this problem.

Turn on the heater, if you do not have hot air coming out the vents, you are probably low on coolant in the radiator or there is some kind of restriction in the system like at the bottom of the radiator not allowing coolant to circulate. While the engine of your car is cool enough, park it on a level platform. A clogged or blocked radiator of your car could be redressed in a few easy steps which are as follows:
